instagram friends! big news! i met the famous KEN instagram friends! big news! i met the famous KEN KEN from Osaka, Japan in real life! i shared this story earlier in the year on facebook, but will briefly summarize here. around 1995 i built a truck with the help of my Smooth Reality crew that sold to a collector in japan. ken who is an automotive and hot wheels enthusiast acquired the truck. we found each other online in 2022, and last week we met in Los Angeles where he gave me a smooth reality hoodie! so cool! i’m so grateful. pictured here is ken and our shared baby, Bubblicious, on the cover of Truckin’ Magazine August 1996 issue. also pictured is chad fox with an SR hoodie! the internet came through with a huge Win with this story. @truckinmagazine @kens_art_kustom_garage @chad.the.dad.fox @mr_cgs @foxandfriendscars @cgs_performance @90struckscene #smoothreality #KxAxKxG

walking up 5th in lower queen anne, a thought drop walking up 5th in lower queen anne, a thought dropped softly like a needle from an evergreen, “of all the -isms, i’m beginning to believe patriotism causes the most division.” a stop at the top looking upon the emerald earthscape, i inhaled impulsive action: “all the -isms are highly divisive.” then exhaling receptive introspection i remembered i’m a man in the 21st century, “and the most divisive,” i realized, “is sexism.” in my descent to the (city) center, rough thoughts revealed no solution crucial enough to bring universal healing, except to just start here.
